ANIELLA DAWN SYLVIA " Heavenly Messenger" July 8 - July 28, 2010
Aniellia Dawn Sylvia passed peacefully in the arms of family and met the eyes of Jesus on Wednesday, July 28, 2010. She was born on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 1:16 PM at St. Joseph Hospital, Parkersburg, WV. Aniellia was Baptized the day of birth by Rev. George Daniels.
She was a member of St. Paul AME Church, Charleston, WV.
Aniellia is the daughter of Rev. John and Susan (Basta) Sylvia and a sister of Johniece and Margo Sylvia, Megan Brown, Amira Jackson and Eric Jackson. Aniellia is survived by Grandmother Shirley "Mom-Mom" Basta, Grandfather John B. Sylvia, Jr. Grandmother Caroline Sylvia, Uncle Emmanuel (Godfather) and Aunt Gina (Payne) Ogwude, Uncle Michael and Aunt Kathy Hill, Uncle Timothy and Aunt Lisa Payne, Uncle Charles Payne, Uncle Norm Payne, Uncle Gary and Aunt Donna Basta, Uncle Tony and Aunt Pamela Basta, Aunt Janet Hennen, Aunt Janean Sylvia, Uncle Vincent and Aunt Angie Sylvia, Uncle Tony and Aunt Jeanette Sylvia, Uncle Jecobe and Aunt Nichole Pettway, Aunt Liz Putman, Uncle Alton and Aunt Maureen Dillard, Uncle Lawrence and Aunt Marcia (Godmother) Jones, Aunt Violet Hill and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins Great Aunts and Uncles and a Great-Great Aunt.
Aniellia was greeted into Heaven by her Grandfather Thomas L. Basta, Grandmother Margo Sylvia-Beach, Uncle Dale Hill and Uncle James Lopez.
Services 1PM Monday August 2, at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Alton Dillard officiating. Burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Parkersburg. Visitation Sunday 4-8 PM and Monday Noon-1PM. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www/leavittfuneralhome.com.
