Doris L. (Webb) Hertz, 82, of Parkersburg, WV passed away Wednesday July 28, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Grantsville, WV a daughter of the late William and Yetta Webb.
After many years of service she retired from the American Heart Association as Director. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by eight children Roberta Sines of Zanesville, OH, Jeffrey Hertz of Parkersburg, Kathy Hall (Richard) of Kingsland, GA, Teresa Lewis (Tim) of Parkersburg, Veronica Shedan (Craig) of Parkersburg, Christine Bunting of Parkersburg, Margaret Kramer (John) of Beaver Creek, OH, and Jim Hertz (Terri) of Parkersburg; daughter-in-law Brenda Hertz of Troy, OH; sixteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hertz, whom she was married to for forty-seven years, and a son Michael Hertz.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday July 31, 2010 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Yesu Golla as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with a Rosary Service at 8:00 PM.
