Aiden Keir Modesitt
Aiden Keir Modesitt, 16 month old son of Chris Modesitt and Shelly (Parrish) Modesitt, was lifted by the angels on Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Parkersburg.
Baby Aiden was born March 4, 2009, in Parkersburg. He had a great love for Elmo who Aiden thought was his hero.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his older siblings, Michael and Angela Modesitt, Parkersburg, Sandra Eagle, Vienna, Michael Lee Horner, Ohio; paternal grandparents, Bob and Diane Modesitt, Vienna; paternal great-grandmothers, Mary Ann Bowry, Parkersburg and Betty June Modesitt, Vienna; uncles, Greg Modesitt (Bobbi) and Kevin Parrish (Danielle), both of Vienna; along with several great aunts, great uncles, and cousins. Baby Aiden is also survived by his best friend, Olivia, the family dog.
He was preceded in death by paternal great-grandfathers, Billy Gene Bowry and Joseph Clarence Modesitt.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Roger Halstead officiating. Burial will follow in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Friends may call the funeral home from 2-8 p.m. today.
The family has asked friends to bring in toys to the funeral home that will be donated to Toys 4 Tots and the Salvation Army in baby Aiden's memory.
